Pine Hill was incorporated as a "Borough" under the Laws of the State of New Jersey . The municipality has the Borough form of government. The Mayor is elected for a four-year term with six-members of council elected to a three-year term.
The annual Pine Hill operating budget is $5.1 Million with approximately $2 Million in revenues raised through taxes. The total valuation of property in 2000 was $253.5 Million broken down as follows: Residential- 88% ; Commercial- 3% and Institutional- 9%.
